Identity

Lanki is the University of Mondragón’s Co-operative Studies Institute. It is located at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences.

Part of the Mondragón Co-operative Experience, its mission is to research the co-operative movement in a multidisciplinary way, and on that basis, provide a service for the co-operative experience.

The following stand out among its characteristics its interdisciplinary nature focused on socio-educational aspects, its youth, the combination of autonomy and links with co-operative agents, its multilingualism based on Basque, its opening up preferentially to relations with the southern hemisphere.

It consists of a team of fourteen researchers, most of them lecturers working on a part-time basis, and a network of collaborators among the student body, as well as in the co-operatives and other universities.
